Fallout 4

Bethesda has announced the installment requirements for the new upcoming Fallout 4. They say it may take up to 28-35GB of memory or more depending on where you live and what languages you want the game to support. They have also announced that the game will be released November 10, 2015. I chose this article because I have played fallout before and this new upcoming game has me very interested. Everytime they announce something new about the game it never seems to disappoint. As a consumer it bothers me that the game takes up so much memory. I may have to delete a few things to be able to play but it's not problem considering it's a great game. My question is whether or not the company will lose money because people don't have the memory space to have the game installed.

  1. I don't think this will bring a decrease in profits due to memory space, but this will cause people to spend more money on storage. Nowadays you can swap out a hard drive with one of higher storage in your PS4 or X-Box One, or just simply add another drive to your PC. Personally this will just make Sony and Microsoft's launch storage of 500 GB look even worse. You would figure that they would know that with game sizes these days, they would have stuffed a terabyte of storage at launch...
