Revenge of the dreamers II has been released this past Tuesday. It features J cole, Bas, Omen, and cozz. It is a collab album which has been announced earlier this year. This has given J. Cole and opportunity to receive nominations for several music awards. This is important to me because I listen to music daily so whenever am Artist I enjoy drops music I always want to hear. The impact this has on me as a consumer is that I now have new music to listen to and more to look forward to when J. cole and Kendrick drop a collab album in February. This question I have is that will they make more money than before because of the collab album? I believe they are going to set records because both artists are very talented

In this album logic talks about his status as a rapper and how he is looked at because of his race. Through his new album "The Incredible True Story" he talks about how people judge his music because of his race instead of who has the better music. He is very honest in music and expresses how he feels through his strong lyrics. I chose this article because I have listened to logics album and I wanted to read the reviews. Everything they say about logic in the article is very accurate because he wants to be known as an amazing rapper but people judge him although his music is good in my opinion. As a consumer I think this album let's people know of his existence. Logic speaks the truth and I like how he uses his experiences to write his music. My question is will people appreciate his music more because of the truth he speaks or still judge him?

The game of the year was released as Fallout 4 raises eyebrows. They used a creation engine for the games graphics used before I'm skyrim in 2011. They say that nobody expect the game to be like assassins creed or batman. The game will be very unique and none other like it. This is important to me because I played this back when the game just came out and I've enjoyed playing it ever since it came out. The impact of this article is that it may boosts sales because of it's high expectations that it has met. As a consumer my question is that will they continue to work on another game after this one? I believe they will because the game has been successful these past few days and has made tons of money. My question is that if they will add more to the game since it already has so much to it when you but it?

In the article they talk about how Halo 5 isn't what it was before. It has become like every other first person shooter. Players who have played the game agree that the developers have focused too much on multiplayer and forgot about the purpose of the game. They speak of the story advancing but it comes at a cost which causes the story to not be as popular as before. I chose this article because when I was younger I would always play the halo games and I don't play anymore but the story was great and I wanted to see if it was continued. I am affected as a consumer because it may cause me to purchase this in the near future. Will the story not being as popular as before affect the sales of the company? Personally I don't think people care too much about the story and will still purchase the game.

Woodlawn has been getting pretty good reviews. It has received an 87% from Rotten tomatoes and a 7.1/10 from iMDb. The movie is about a team that lives in Birmingham and pray many times throughout the day. There have been riots erupting and they hope to unite the town again by religion. I chose this in particular because it was about football which I can always find interesting. As a consumer this affects me because I will most likely spend money to watch this movie in theatre. I am wondering if the movie will not reach it's maximum views because of religion? Some people are not very religious so they may not enjoy the movie as well as other.

Bethesda has announced the installment requirements for the new upcoming Fallout 4. They say it may take up to 28-35GB of memory or more depending on where you live and what languages you want the game to support. They have also announced that the game will be released November 10, 2015. I chose this article because I have played fallout before and this new upcoming game has me very interested. Everytime they announce something new about the game it never seems to disappoint. As a consumer it bothers me that the game takes up so much memory. I may have to delete a few things to be able to play but it's not problem considering it's a great game. My question is whether or not the company will lose money because people don't have the memory space to have the game installed.

It has been announced that there will be a Fast and Furious 8, but there is no director? Vin diesel has considered directing the movie himself . He had considered this because his mother had said, "Either you direct 8 yourself.... or don't do it."  Vin brought up Paul walker saying before his passing that Rob should direct the movie because he believes he will bring the film back to what it is about. There has also been two other directors but have been ruled out due to scheduling. I chose this article because I have always liked the Fast and Furious franchise and wanted to see what is going on with the next film. As a consumer this article makes me wonder if this film will reach the high standards the other films have set. The question that this raises for me is that will Fast and Furious franchise be as successful without Paul Walker?

Ahmad Mohammed was arrested for making a home made clock. His teacher had suspicions because of his race so he called the authorities. This is important because although racism ended long ago it still continues to this day. As a student there is a possibility I may still face racism in the upcoming years to come. My question is why do people still see others as a threat based on their religion?

Pewdiepie, a Swedish YouTuber, has become the most famous on this website beating big names like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, etc.... He has reached a YouTube high of 32 million subs. It is said from Wall Street Journal that he makes roughly around 4 million a year but that may have changed due to him gaining many subscribers. I chose this article because I was watching TMZ and they brought up that Pewdiepie has become the most popular youtuber beating Rihanna, which I found amusing. The article I read was about how Donald Trump is beginning to become very popular and recently has been getting higher percentages in recent polls. Trump has turned running for president into a television show and is basically searching for attention. With all the attention he's recently been receiving he has a high chance at being elected president. I chose this article because of the title "Media shift: Why Trump has gone from unthinkable to unavoidable". On most social media you see much of Trump but not much of any other candidate. He has gotten so much attention because of the stunts he's pulled in the past. Some are actually believing what he's saying and others see this as a joke. As a student I think it will affect me because so far I have read nothing about trump doing anything for the school system such as free education, or cheaper tuition etc.. I want to know why people are voting for someone who is going to treat presidency as a joke. We need a president that we can see a future with and someone who promises to do what's best for all the people.

STAR WARS

Disney, who bought Lucasfilm in 2012 for 4.06 billion, planned on continuing the Star Wars franchise and releasing it on December 18, 2015. The article by Anthony D'Alessandro and Nancy Tartaglione says, "Many are already predicting a record 615 million worldwide opening, and they have plenty to be confident in that number." As Jurassic World set the global opening record with 524.4 million, many believe that Star Wars will easily beat that record in record breaking time. I personally chose this article because as soon as I saw "Star Wars" I immediately clicked on the link and read the article. I've been a fan of the Star Wars franchise since I could remember. The movies had a big impact on my childhood, so of course it caught my eye. The article, as a consumer, impacts me because it gives me something to look forward to during December and it can possibly effect me as a student and filmmaker because I can use some shots in the film to help me influence our future projects. The only question I can bring up from reading this article is that if they succeed in the box offices, will they make more movies to follow up the 7th upcoming movie.
